Personal training for moms, athletes, and anyone looking to get stronger.

Weekly training plans built around your life, your body, and your goals. Feel stronger, more like yourself, and more physically equipped to enjoy the activities—and people—you care about.

YES! THIS SOUNDS AWESOME!

2 WAYS TO TRAIN

Asynchronous

How it works:

I put your workouts in our app. You do them on your own and track your sets, reps, and weight in the app. You can ask questions and submit form check videos within our app for feedback. I will film demo videos for you as needed. Each week, I will make changes to your program to encourage your progress and meet needs.

Note that we will not be meeting face-to-face. If you are interested in that level of service, please see oom or in-person below.

Your investment: $225/month.
  • This includes programming up to a maximum of 4 workouts/week.
  • You’ll receive a monthly invoice for each coming month.
  • Minimum of 2 month commitment. First payment is $450 for first two months. $225/month after.

Zoom or In-Person

How it works:

I’ll write your program and track everything for you in the app—all you have to do is show up. In addition to our live sessions, I can program extra conditioning workouts for you in the app, and you’ll also have the option to repeat the strength workouts we do together on your own. Along with coaching you during our live sessions, I’ll check in regularly to see how your additional training is going and make adjustments as needed so you continue to build consistency and make progress. This option is ideal for anyone new to strength training. Many people start here, and some later transition to asynchronous coaching (see above).

Your investment: $100/one hour session.
  • Sold in packages of 5 for $500 (2-month expiration) after the first session of the package.
What’s included in personal training sessions with me:
  • A 20 minute discovery call where I explain how it works and we briefly discuss your goals, challenges, and questions.
  • An introductory process where you'll help me customize your programming.
  • Weekly, individualized strength and cardio programming of up to 5 workouts/week (option 1) that are customized around the equipment you have access to at home or at the gym.

For remote and hybrid clients only:

  • Direct access to me via the True Coach app and text message.
  • Weekly, individualized programming uploaded to the True Coach app.

LET'S SEE IF WE ARE A GOOD FIT!

TAKE ME THERE!

More about the app where clients access their program.

The True Coach App is a user-friendly platform that you gain access to when you do Asynchronous, Zoom, or In-Person personal training with me. This app gives us the ability to track your workouts, as well as interact asynchronously via text and video. I will upload video tutorials for each exercise for you to reference to ensure your form is solid even if I'm not there to coach you. Asynch clients can seamlessly record themselves doing exercises for my feedback. Explore the app's features by watching the video!

IS PERSONAL TRAINING RIGHT FOR YOU?

YES!

  • You know strength is key to healthy aging, and you want to maintain your muscle and bone mass to stay active and independent for the long haul.
  • You’re training to feel stronger and perform better in your sport or hobby—whether that’s running, dancing, golf, pickleball, or yoga—and you want to reduce your risk of injury while doing it.
  • You’re a movement professional who wants to deepen your understanding of strength training by experiencing it firsthand with expert guidance.
  • You want to have more energy and strength so you can be fully present for the people and activities that matter most to you.
  • You want consistent accountability and coaching that adjusts to your needs, week by week.
  • You need training that fits your setup—whether you lift at home, in a gym, or on the go.
  • You’re ready to find out just how capable you really are.

Not Right Now

  • You are presently dealing with an unmanaged medical, acute, or chronic pain condition and are not currently receiving support from a medical provider or physical therapist to assist in its management.
  • You want me to “prescribe” a set of exercises to “fix” your pain or medical condition. (While building strength can be effective for reducing pain and managing illness, the best setting to receive treatment for pain or illness is under the care of a medical doctor or physical therapist. I can certainly work in conjunction with a medical doctor or physical therapist to help you get strong in ways that support your treatment and rehabilitative process, as your medical team deems appropriate.)
  • You are not ready to commit to a minimum of 45 minutes (cumulative) per week to consistently engage in strength training.
Meet Laurel

I’m Laurel Beversdorf—a strength and conditioning coach (CSCS), run coach (RRCA), and yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) with over 15 years of experience helping people build real-world strength to support the lives they want to live.

I specialize in working with recreational athletes, postpartum moms, busy parents, and anyone who wants to feel more capable—whether that means keeping up with your kids, handling the physical demands of your sport or hobby, or just feeling better in your body.

These days, I can be spotted strength training at the local Y or running on Huntsville’s roads and trails. I’m a Boston-qualifying marathoner and a frequent top finisher at local races. I’m also pursuing my Master’s in Kinesiology at AAMU to deepen my understanding of training, performance, and applied sports science.

My approach is science-based, individualized, and results-focused. I help my clients make measurable progress to their strength, fitness and ability to handle the physical demands of their lives with more energy and less pain. I design programs that adapt to your real life, take you closer to your goals, and that deliver measurable, observable results.

I believe consistency beats perfection every time and that getting fit shouldn’t feel complicated, overwhelming, or confusing. With the right plan, good coaching, and a little patience, progress becomes both obvious and sustainable.

I’m also the creator and co-host of Movement Logic: Strong Opinions Loosely Held, a podcast that cuts through confusion and misinformation in the movement world.
